Kris Bressington - Drum and Music Production Tutor
Kristian has been drumming since the age of 8, originally taught by his father “Big Daddy Bressington” which kick-started his love of playing music. Since then he has studied music at Bath College and gained an honours degree at BIMM Bristol. This studying has allowed Kris’ musical ability to flourish, and broaden his tastes and style. Originally a rock and metal drummer, Kristian has now diversified and finds himself very accomplished and regularly gigging within the jazz, funk and hip hop scene.

Despite having numerous musical qualifications, Kristian still regards himself as mostly self-taught due to his constant experimentation with percussive techniques and personal growth as a musician. This gives him an understanding of the frustrations of independent learning, so Kris aims to equip his students with the right resources and motivation that can make practicing joy, rather than a chore. This encourages students to develop their own personal style.
Fun Fact
Since childhood, Kris has always loved the oriental art of origami. His favourite is the flappy bird, which he has tastefully tattooed all over his body.
