Jamie Fitzpatrick - Vocal Tutor
Jamie Fitzpatrick is the vocalist, songwriter, sound designer and live electronics player for original Nu Metalcore band Drip Fed Empire which have a dedicated following across the UK and parts of Europe.
Jamie also performs as Chester Bennington in the UK’s biggest Linkin Park tribute ‘The Linkin Park Experience’ and through doing so has toured and continues to do so extensively across the UK & EU. Jamie was self taught as a ‘scream’ vocalist from the age of 13 due to there being a lack of tuition in this style. After studying at BIMM Bristol and receiving a BA(hons) degree in Professional Musicianship where he received proper vocal tuition and pursuing ‘clean’ vocal styles has enabled him to grow his pallet of sounds and combine many different styles of vocals in new and interesting ways, the correct way. With his vast knowledge of contemporary vocal styles Jamie can provide his students with the knowledge and skills to help them pursue their musical endeavours to a very high level. Music is a full time job for Jamie, he lives and breathes the industry every day.
Fun Fact
Jamie can consistently perform the legendary ‘Given Up’ 17 second scream that is unofficially one of the longest held scream notes ever performed in one breath.
