George Turner - Guitar and Piano/Keys Tutor

George has been playing guitar for as long as he can remember and can’t really remember doing anything else, on account of being struck by lightning whilst raising his guitar high to the rock gods at his first gig. His first guitar teacher, Mick Jaques of The Skatalites and Curved Air, helped mould him into a versatile player with a wide range of musical interests, from the cosiest of Jazz to the most parent-disapproving of Hardcore Punk. Whilst playing an Argos Catalogue’s worth of gigs, tours and festivals, George has still found time to build a secret underground lair where he experiments with music production, bass guitar, piano and hardware synthesisers. Fancying a change from the world of punk and hardcore, George currently plays for experimental-pop band, Sun Spot.
